Creating a Better World: The Role of Corporate ASEAN in Driving the Sustainable Development Goals

Date: 27 April 2016, 9.25 am - 11.15 am
Venue: Securities Commission

With the launch of the Sustainable Development Goals in 2015, there is a renewed impetus for corporates to embrace and drive the concept of responsible business. Moving beyond rhetoric, future oriented businesses are redefining their strategies to embed sustainability in ensuring they do business in ways that respect social and environmental factors. Whilst forward looking corporates view SDGs as a blue ocean opportunity, many others are  still reflecting on how best to embed sustainability and adopt the SDGs in their everyday operations.

To energise Corporate Malaysia to understand, adopt and drive the SDGs in their organizations, the Global Compact Network Malaysia, Securities Industry Development Corporation and Nottingham University is co-organising a high level plenary discussion on SDGs and corporations. Join us in learning from our distinguished panel of speakers in driving the SDGs in your organizations.
