Peneraju Profesional: CMSRL in Corporate Finance and Investment Advice (CCOFIA) Programme

A continuous and sustainable supply of skilled, adaptable and creative world-class talents equipped for success in the global marketplace is of paramount importance to any nation, industry and organisation. In keeping with the tremendous growth of the Malaysian capital market over the years, Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera (Yayasan Peneraju) recognised the need for more innovative and capable talents to drive Malaysia towards achieving a developed-nation status. As a result, Yayasan Peneraju, in collaboration with SIDC initiated the Capital Markets Services Representative’s License (CMSRL) in Corporate Finance and Investment Advice programme, better known as CCOFIA. Throughout the programme, participants will undergo comprehensive training in order to become a licensed representative in Corporate Finance (CF) or Investment Advice (IA).

The CCOFIA programme is fully funded by Yayasan Peneraju and supported by the Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF), with no fee imposed on participating organisations or nominated participant(s). A total of 62 participants from 45 Capital Markets Services Licence (CMSL) holders have enrolled in Cohort 1 and 2 of the programme to date. Now into its third Cohort, the CCOFIA programme offers participants the opportunity to undergo a comprehensive Career Advancement Programme, sit the SC Licensing Examinations (Module 12 & 19), attend Continuing Professional Education approved courses and so much more.

If you are a CMSL holder or company, we would strongly recommend you to take advantage of the CCOFIA programme by nominating your non-licensed CF and/or IA executive for enrolment.  For more information, click here to download the programme brochure.
