Understand Market Direction Using Moving Average in Derivatives Trading

The moving average is one of the technical analysis tools to understand and forecast market direction beginning with the process of price analysis. Generally, there are two (2) types of moving averages used by technical analysts i.e. Simple Moving Average (SMA) and Exponential Moving Average (EMA). Moving average plots average prices over a defined period of time and typically overlaid onto a candlestick or bar chart to guide trader and investor in executing appropriate trading strategies in derivatives trading.
