Career and Trading Opportunities in Derivatives Market

Logan Tee joined Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Bhd in September 2020 as the Head of Financial Derivatives, Product & Market Development. He has more than a decade of industry experience across investment banking and derivatives markets. Prior to joining the derivatives exchange, he was with, inter alia, Equity Portfolio Management department of Public Mutual Bhd and Equity Capital Markets department of Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd.

Stephen Kwong is currently the Head of Futures Broking for the AmBank Group. He started his derivatives career in 1994 as part of the pioneer team that set-up TA Futures Sdn Bhd. He later joined RHB Futures S/B as Dealing Manager before extending his services to AMMB Futures as the General Manager in 1998. In 2006, his portfolio included the Head of Equity Foreign Institutional Desk and subsequently in 2012, Equity Retail Business was included as well. Stephen Noel Kwong holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematical Operational Research and Economics from Essex University, East Anglia, United Kingdom.

Sarimah Ramthandin is the Director of the Innovation and Advisory. Her primary roles consist of strategic development, design and implementation of innovative learning modules, and customising intervention solutions for the capital market industry. In addition, Sarimah successfully led the expansion of SIDC into a learning and development consultancy for talent development in the capital markets. She was also instrumental in the conceptualisation, development and implementation of various Investor Education projects including strategic partnerships, key publications and core financial literacy and capability programmes. Sarimah has also been invited to speak and share her experiences in implementing financial literacy and capability strategies and innovative programmes at various international forums. She has made regular media and TV appearances, speaking on topics ranging from smart money management habits to wise investing.
