Mr. Afzal Abd. Rahim is the Chief Executive Officer of TIME dotcom Berhad. He brings over 20 years of extensive entrepreneurial executive experience in the technology and telecommunications sector to the role, having previously held the position of CEO at AIMS Data Centre and Global Transit Communications Sdn. Bhd. Mr. Afzal founded the non-profit Malaysian Internet Exchange in 2006 and also served as a Board Member of Endeavor Malaysia, an organization devoted to nurturing high-impact entrepreneurs. Currently, he is a Board Member of CIMB Group Holdings Berhad and Symphony Communication Public Company Limited.

Mr. Afzal started his career in the automotive sector, initially as a Chassis Development Engineer at Proton and thereafter as Business Development Manager at Group Lotus PLC. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with Electronics from University of Sussex, United Kingdom. He is also a Licensed Commercial Pilot.
