ACP Lai Lee Ching has served over 30 years in the Royal Malaysian Police (RMP), excelling across various divisions/departments. A pivotal figure in scam awareness, she initiated impactful song, Be Smart, Stay Alert and spearheaded RMP’s first scam awareness movie, OPPA, showcasing her innovative. Recognised as an RMP ICON, she launched PDRM’s Facebook page, setting a benchmark in social media engagement for public safety. Honored as the 2024 Top Women in Security ASEAN Region – Country Award winner, ACP Lai’s foresight and dedication have strengthened public trust, educated communities, and elevated Malaysia’s efforts in combating scams effectively.She was awarded the Special Medal of the Federal Territory 2024 (Kesatria Mangku Wilayah, KMW and Special Medal of Malaysia (Kesatria Mangku Negara, KMM) by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia for outstanding service.
