Daniel Bouzas is the Regional Coordinator for Europe of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI), a partnership between UNEP and the global financial sector.

He leads on the European actions, working on all relevant initiatives of UNEP FI in the region, engaging membership to harness industry involvement, as well as leading on key initiatives, such as the EU Taxonomy workstream and key regulatory engagement.

Before joining UNEP FI Daniel was Policy Adviser on Sustainable Finance at the European Banking Federation (EBF) and has prior experience on EU policy-making, financial services, sustainability and international affairs.
