Danny is the founder, CEO and Executive Director of Areca Capital Sdn Bhd, a private wealth management company focusing in fund management and wealth advisory in Malaysia. Licensed as a Unit Trust and Financial Planning company, Areca Capital is also an award-winning fund management company where its flagship fund, Areca EquityTRUST Fund has been ranked by Refinitiv Lipper as the Best Fund Over 3, 5 and 10 years under Equity Malaysia category for 5 consecutive years from 2018 to 2022 with total returns of 495% since inception in 2007 to April 2022.

Danny has more than 30 years of work experience in stock broking, fund management, unit trust business and financial planning field. Danny is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a CFPCERT TM professional. He holds a Capital Markets and Services Representative’s License for the regulated activities of Fund Management and Financial Planning from the Securities Commission Malaysia.

He is an elected Director of the Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FiMM). He sits on various Board Committees including Industry Development, Disciplinary and Rules Committee.
