Jigar Shah is the CEO & Head of Research at MIB Securities India and the Head of Sustainability Research at Maybank Investment Banking Group.

He has a cumulative experience of almost 28 years in the Indian capital markets covering equity research, sales and portfolio management.

Jigar is certified in corporate sustainability, sustainable finance and ESG Investing from NYU Stern as well as carbon footprinting and natural resources management from CII-GBC in India.

Jigar’s views on sustainability/ESG sectors and stocks have been published by Bloomberg, The Economic Times and The Edge. He is a regular speaker at webinars and panel discussions on Sustainability/ESG related topics. In Oct 2022 Jigar’s joint research paper “Geopolitics accelerating transition to renewables ” was awarded the best paper in international research category by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
