Julian M Hashim is the Chief Regulatory Officer of Bursa Malaysia Berhad, overseeing regulatory strategies, listing, market surveillance, governance, and enforcement. A former advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaysia, he co-founded a leading law firm in Kuala Lumpur and has over 25 years of experience in corporate law, advising on M&As, takeovers, and compliance matters. Julian chairs Sub-Committee 2: Governance & Disclosures of the Joint Committee on Climate Change (JC3) and serves on the Advisory Committee on Sustainability Reporting (ACSR), supporting the implementation of IFRS sustainability disclosure standards in Malaysia.
