TCFD and Climate Risk Consultant at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI).

As part of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI), Maheen works on the Task force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) programme. The programme is designed to help global banks and investors identify, assess and manage their climate-related financial risks. Her work strongly focuses on climate scenario analysis, climate stress testing and macro-modeling of climate change.

Maheen has a Masters in Conservation from University College London (UCL) and a Bachelors in Ecology from the University of Toronto and has previously worked at WWF.
