SIDC has developed an online learning environment where training and learning industry-related courses are now available without the constraints of time, space and location. Traditional contents are converted into simple, interactive, effective and self-paced modules.
SIDC Online programmes offers the following:

SIDC Online Programmes will be conducted via our digital learning suite, SIDC Learning Management System (LMS). The SIDC LMS is designed to allow interactive presentation, live interaction between the speakers and participants, Q&A (via audio or chat), screen sharing as well as recorded version for future reference.

- Once register, you will be directed to the payment page where you can make the payment via FPX (online transfer) and Credit Card. Registration is successful once the payment being accepted by SIDC
You will receive an email from SIDC (sidc@sidc.com.my) containing the access link, unique “User ID” and “Password” for you to start with the online course. SIDC will send you the information in a confirmation email upon receipt of full payment.

Email confirmation with the access link will be provided to all paid participants at least 3 working days before the commencement of the course
For SIDC Learn & Video-on-demand (VOD):
Email confirmation with the access link will be provided to all paid participants within 3 working days from the date payment is confirmed. For E-learning, please follow the steps below :
- Go to erp.sidc.com.my and login with the user credentials that were provided to you
- Upon login, your enrolled courses will be displayed
- Click on the “Access” button to go to your lesson page
- Choose the activity you wish to start
It is a pre-requisite to complete the pre-test before you are allowed to access your webinar

On the average, the SIDC Learn e-learning series can be completed in less than 4 hours and is accessible for 45 days from the date you receive your unique user ID and password from SIDC.
The SIDC Learn programmes will expire after 45 days and a new fee is required for a fresh access to be given.
It is strictly prohibited. Kindly refer to Clause (7) of the Intellectual Property Rights in the Terms and Conditions for SIDC Training Programmes.

Following Terms and Conditions for SIDC Training Programmes, our online programmes are non-refundable upon payment or after invoices has been issued.
Your SIDC Webinar registration comes with 30 days of Pre recorded viewing and will be available on SIDC eLearn website within 24 hours from the date of the live session by using the same access link.
SIDC Webinar programme material(s) will be shared by the speaker on the date of the course (if any).

FAQ on Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on SIDC’s Public Programmes
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is posing a significant challenge to many organisations. This FAQ hopes to address questions and queries you may have with regards to your programme registration and our programme calendar. We’re updating this FAQ regularly to ensure it reflects the current situation.
Registration Related FAQ
To help prevent the spread of the virus and reduce the risk of exposure to our staff, course participants and guests/visitors, the SC has implemented the following:
- Screening questionnaire – You are required to complete the Health Screening Form before appearing at the programme venue. All registered participants will receive the screenning questionnaire prior to them attending the programme at the SC Building. If you did not receive the questionnaire, please contact registration@sidc.com.my and we will forward a copy for your completion submission before programme date.
- Thermal Screening – This is conducted before you enter into the SC Buidling or any of our other programme venues if required by the building management.
If you are found to be in the high risk group based on your declaration in the Health Screening form, fail the thermal screening, show symptoms of acute respiratory illness (i.e. cough, shortness of breath) and/or and any other symptoms, you will not be allowed to enter the SC building or the designated programme venue.
In the event of the above, the SIDC will offer you the following options:
- You/the company may choose to send a replacement to attend the programme; or
- You/the company can opt to transfer to an upcoming SIDC programme, of the same value and scheduled to be conducted within the same year, subject to receiving clearance on the participant’s health condition.
Please note that participant opting to attend a future SIDC programme will need to identify and confirm the new SIDC programme within 1 week from the date of the original registered programme. Registration to the new programme is always subject to the availability of seats and confirmation from SIDC that the programme will proceed as scheduled.
Yes you are allowed to cancel your registration for an SIDC programme should the programme date coincide with your quarantine period. Please note that you will need to notify SIDC in writing of the quarantine and SIDC will need to acknowledge the request.
Under this circumstances, SIDC will waive the penalty and will allow you to choose on the following options:
- You/the company may choose to send a replacement to attend the programme; or
- You/the company can opt to transfer to an upcoming SIDC programme, of the same value and scheduled to be conducted within the same year, subject to receiving clearance on the participant’s health condition.
Please note that participant opting to attend a future SIDC programme will need to identify and confirm the new SIDC programme within 1 week from the date of the original registered programme. Registration to the new programme is always subject to the availability of seats and confirmation from SIDC that the programme will proceed as scheduled.
At SIDC, the health and safety of our guests and participants is our priority. Based on the continuing escalation of COVID-19, we are evaluating our programme calendar on a case-by-case basis and will cancel programmes if deemed necessary. We are monitoring unfolding events closely and reviewing all available options, including conducting online programmes and events.
SIDC will be informing all affected participant in the event of a postponement. We encourage you to verify and ensure that we have your latest email address in the registration record. You may do so by directly updating your personal details in the registration portal or by contacting SIDC.
