Creative Problem Solving & Decision Making

 

In today’s demanding world of business, employees are faced with the challenge of producing more with less, become faster and more efficient. Employees must possess the knowledge and skills to come up with ideas to enhance performance, resolves issues and solve problems creatively. They must find the most appropriate and cost effective solution to satisfy both the organisation as well as the customer.

This course aims to equip participants with the necessary skills, motivation, tools and techniques in systematically solving day-to-day problems effectively at the workplace.

Programme Objective
Participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to identify and use structured tools to manage and solve a problem.

By the end of this programme, participants will be able to:

  2. Apply the 3 Step Problem Solving Model
  3. Differentiate a problem vs. a symptom – to analyse the root cause
  4. Apply 3 problem solving tools to identify and solve a problem
  5. Apply 2 decision making tools
  6. Utilise the Decision Making Matrix to choose the optimum solution
